-Both models to be underpinned by the INGLO platform
-Two new sub-brands are to be introduced for future models
Mahindra is finally venturing into the new-age EV business with its upcoming flagship products, the XEV 9e and the BE 6e. Both models will make their international debut on 26 November under two new sub-brands, XEV and BE.
The upcoming all-electric models will be underpinned by the INGLO platform, which as per brand, will help the models to have better safety standards and impressive performance along with higher efficiency.
Now talking about segment and placement, the BE 6e will be positioned above the XUV400 and will compete against the Tata Curvv, MG ZS EV, and even the MG Windsor EV. Meanwhile, the XEV 9e will have a rival in the form of the upcoming Tata Harrier EV.
