- To be officially unveiled on 26 November
- Both EVs to be based on the INGLO platforms
Mahindra has released yet another teaser revealing the production-ready XEV 9e and the BE 6e ahead of their global debut on 26 November, 2024. Both models are the next step for the Indian automaker in the EV business,
The Mahindra XEV 9e and the BE 6e look very similar to their concept versions. Notably, both models will be underpinned by the brand’s INGLO platform, which is ground-up EV architecture. Interestingly, the XEV 9e will get the butterfly Mahindra logo, whereas the BE 6e will feature the ‘BE’ logo, setting it apart from the XEV range.
These models will be the most feature-packed vehicles by the automaker. According to the spy pictures that have been circulating for the past six months, the XEV 9e will feature a triple-display setup for the dashboard. On the other hand, the BE 6e will get a driver-centric dashboard and centre console layout with a new twin-spoke steering wheel and a glowing logo.
The technical specifications have been kept under wraps, however, we expect the models to get two battery pack options with a driving range of approximately 500km on a single charge. More details are likely to emerge soon as we move closer to the global debut.
