Mahindra finally looks set to reveal its much awaited U321 MPV tomorrow. Mahindra MD, Pawan Goenka will be announcing the details at a press conference in Mumbai.
The U321 will be based on an all-new platform and is the first car to be developed at Mahindra’s North American Technical Centre. The car will be available in seven and eight seat configurations and is expected to be powered by a new 1.5-litre diesel engine. Expect interiors to be on the premium front with plenty of features included as well.
The U321 is expected to be in a segment above the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, but will command a lower price tag than the expensive Toyota Innova Crysta which should make it good value. We think the U321 prices will start upwards of Rs. 10 lakh. Stay tuned for more details.
