Mahindra has further expanded the TUV300 product lineup in the country with the launch of TUV300 PLUS for Rs 9.47 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The new nine-seat model is available in three variants – P4, P6 and the P8. The vehicle is available in five colour options - bold black, majestic silver, dynamo red, glacier white and molten orange. The TUV300 PLUS gets a bigger 2.2-litre engine and a host of new feature upgrades.
The TUV300 PLUS shares the design element with the standard model except for a slightly longer body shell. The SUV now measures 4,400mm in length, 1,835mm width and stands at a height of 1,812mm. As for the interior, it gets faux leather seats, a 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment with GPS navigation and Pininfarina design theme. Moreover, the SUV is now available with ECO Mode, Micro Hybrid technology, brake energy regeneration, intellipark reverse assist, AC ECO mode and driver information system.
Speaking of features, the vehicle now gets steering mounted audio and phone controls, a rear defogger along with wash and wipe, a driver seat height adjuster, armrests for the front row, a convenient storage tray below the driver’s seat, lead-me-to-vehicle and follow-me-home headlamps. This time around, the vehicle also gets hazard lights which switch on automatically in case of panic braking situations. As for safety, it gets dual-airbags and ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution.
Under the hood, the Mahindra TUV300 PLUS is powered by a 2.2 litre mHAWK engine that generates 120bhp of power and 280Nm of torque. The decently powered engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
