The new Mahindra TUV300 was spotted undisguised at the company dealership yard, thereby indicating on its possible launch sometime soon. The TUV300 facelift will get mild cosmetic and feature upgrades. This will be the first major update for the ladder-on-frame sub-four-metre SUV since its introduction in the country.
Based on what can be seen, the upcoming TUV300 facelift will get a restyled front grille and a new bumper design. The updated model now comes with smoked headlamps and clear taillamps, while the top spec version will be offered with darker alloy wheels and a rear spoiler. To comply with the new safety norms, the TUV300 facelift will get standard safety equipment like driver airbag, ABS, rear parking sensors, seat-belt warning for driver and co-passenger, and a speed warning system.
Mechanically, the TUV300 facelift is expected to continue with the 1.5-litre diesel that generates 100bhp of power. The new model will be available in five variants – the base variant T4+, T6+, T8, T10 and the top-spec T10 (O). There is no plan to introduce a petrol engine option for the Mahindra TUV300 facelift yet. Owing to new feature upgrades, the Mahindra TUV300 facelift is likely to cost slightly higher than the current model.
