Mahindra to up XUV production yet again

Mahindra has just reopened bookings for its popular XUV500, and has stated that it will work towards increasing the model's production to 5000 units by September-October this year. Currently production stands at 4000 units per month, and with the current number of bookings, the following nine months' worth of production has been booked. 

The increase in capacity will come just in time to meet the Diwali rush of purchases, which might not mean immediate relief for those expecting an earlier delivery or looking to book the vehicle in the near future.
