Mahindra is all set to announce the prices of the Thar Roxx, also known as the five-door Thar, in the country tomorrow, 15 August. The company has already revealed key design highlights and features of the lifestyle SUV.
Exterior highlights of the new Thar Roxx include a fresh grille, C-shaped LED DRLs integrated with the projector headlight setup, circular fog lights, new diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED taillights, tailgate-mounted spare wheel, and rear door-mounted handles.
The Thar five-door will also boast multiple features such as a panoramic sunroof, ADAS suite, automatic climate control, fully digital colour instrument console, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android connectivity, ventilated front seats, and six airbags.
While Mahindra has not officially revealed the technical specifications of the 2024 Thar Roxx, we believe it will source power from the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines borrowed from the three-door Thar, albeit in a higher state of tune. It is also expected to carry over the six-speed manual and torque converter automatic units from its smaller wheelbase sibling.
