Mahindra is all to set reveal the five-door Thar, called the Thar Roxx, to the world on 15 August, 2024. While we wait for the brand to do a physical unveil, Mahindra has started revealing the lifestyle SUV through teasers. And in the latest teaser, the profile of the five-door Thar is visible with many exterior elements.
When compared to the three-door version, the five-door Thar will have a bigger dimension to flaunt. Moreover, it will feature all-LED light setups including circular headlamps with similarly shaped DRLs, fog lamps, and a revised front bumper with a redesigned grille, which also houses a camera for the 360-degree surround camera.
On the sides, the Thar Roxx will get door-mounted ORVMs, radio antenna mounted on the front fender, ‘Thar Roxx’ badging on the front side panel, and a rear door handle housed in the C-pillar. Moreover, the new version of the Thar will ride on a new set of five-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels
Feature-wise, the Mahindra Thar Roxx will come loaded with an updated infotainment screen, wireless smartphone connectivity, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, digital instrument panel, and a large panoramic sunroof for higher variants. Considering the growth in dimensions and the addition of new features, the Thar Roxx is expected to be priced between Rs. 16 lakh and Rs. 22 lakh (ex-showroom).
