- To be launched on 15 August, 2024
- Will borrow features from XUV700 and Scorpio N
Mahindra has released yet another teaser of the Thar Roxx SUV. This time, the automaker has confirmed the inclusion of a panoramic sunroof with the new teaser image. With this, the Mahindra Thar Roxx will become the first lifestyle off-roader in its class to get a sunroof.
On a closer inspection, the teaser image reveals additional information such as white seat upholstery as opposed to black seen with the three-door Thar. Moreover, all the headrests look adjustable and there is a large floating infotainment screen mounted on top of the dashboard. Notably, the Thar Roxx will get circular LED DRLs.
Other than that, the new Thar will likely borrow plenty of features from the XUV700 and the Scorpio N. These will include dual-zone climate control, digital instrument panel, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, auto-dimming IRVM, 360-degree surround camera, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
Mechanically, the five-door Thar Roxx will continue with the 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engines coupled with six-speed manual and torque converter automatic gearboxes
