Mahindra has done a complete 180-degree turn with its lifestyle off-roader, the three-door Thar. Since its launch, the model has been in high demand, with barely any offers or discounts and the longest waiting period in the line-up. That said, this has changed post the launch of the Thar Roxx.
Currently, the Thar is being offered with massive discounts of up to Rs. 3 lakh. Notably, this amount can be further increased depending on negotiation skills. The variant that carries the maximum benefits is the Earth Edition of the Thar, which was introduced as a special edition earlier this year.
Furthermore, even the waiting period on the Thar has come down significantly since the release of the five-door Thar Roxx. Currently, the standard Thar can be had with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 11.35 lakh. Meanwhile, the top-spec 4x4 version is being retailed at Rs. 17.6 lakh (ex-showroom).
