Mahindra Thar, has for long, been a popular choice among adventure enthusiasts. In an effort to further enhance its badass quotient, custom carmaker DC Design, has announced a new customisation pack for the Mahindra Thar. The vehicle will continue to be powered by existing engine options and all the changes made will be limited to the cosmetic front only.
Based on what can be seen in the sketches, the DC Design Mahindra Thar will get a hard roof to begin with, along with integrated driving lamps. The front end appears to be completely redesigned with a new grille and a new bumper. Moreover, to level up the sport quotient,it seems the vehicle would also get integrated fog lamps on the bumper. The rear section gets a new set of LED units that are angular and high mounted. The rear tailgate has been redesigned to make place for larger wheels.
More details about the interior are not available for now, however we believe that the vehicle might get premium leather upholstery and a touch screen infotainment system. Loaded with interesting gizmos, the customisation pack for the Thar is expected to find many takers in the country. Mechanically, the vehicle continues to be powered by an existing 2.5-litre diesel engine that comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Additional details about the vehicle will be known in the days to come.
