- Mahindra sells the Classic and N versions under the Scorpio range
- Open bookings reduced by 33 per cent in two months
Mahindra has increased production of multiple vehicles in the recent past, thus allowing it to cater to more customers in a shorter period of time. This is now further visible as the carmaker has seen a significant drop in open bookings.
As of July 2024, the Scorpio range has an open order booking amounting to 58,000 units, which is a nearly 33 per cent drop compared to the 86,000 orders it had in May. Notably, the company is yet to deliver over 1.78 lakh units across its model range.
Simultaneously, the Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic continue to register combined fresh bookings of 12,000 bookings each month. Apart from the Scorpio range, the Thar too has witnessed a drop in open orders by approximately 29 per cent in the past few months, details of which are available on our website.
