Spy photos of the facelifted Mahindra Scorpio have been doing the rounds on the web for quite some time now. Codenamed as W105, this upcoming model will feature a heavily revised design for exteriors and interiors, updated engines and better quality materials.
The car has been spied on test yet again, this time with the heavily camouflaged interiors. Going by the effort Mahindra has taken to hide the interior design from prying eyes, expect the interiors to be comprehensively updated in terms of design and layout. The overall quality, too, is expected to take a step ahead as compared to the existing Scorpio.
Going into the details, the test mule seems to be sporting a new dashboard layout and revised instrument binnacle. Interestingly, the steering wheel (sourced from the XUV 500), hand brake and the gearlever are all black as against the all-beige scheme seen on the current model.
One of Mahindra’s most successful models of all time, the Scorpio has been in the market for over a decade now and by the looks of it, this is expected to one of the final major updates for the vehicle, before an all-new model arrives sometime in 2016.
