-New compact SUV to rival Vitara Brezza -Cabin based on the Ssangyong Tivoli-Official Mahindra name expected to be revealed this monthThe Mahindra S201’s interiors have been spied ahead of its arrival in India next year. It’s a new compact SUV from the Indian automaker that will allow them to take the fight to the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V and the Tata Nexon. It’s expected to find a place alongside the already-on-sale TUV300 but will offer a crossover design whereas the latter is pure old school SUV design. The interior spy shot, reveals that the S201 will pick up a majority of elements from the Ssangyong Tivoli and this means black and beige interiors with chrome plastics. Features on the top spec model are expected to include touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, dual front USB ports, height adjustment for the driver’s seat and a plethora of storage spaces all around. The Tivoli is expected to be offered with only diesel power and this will be the same 100bhp 1.5-litre unit from TUV300. That means both manual and AT options for this vehicle. Mahindra is expected to launch the car in early 2019.
