The company has achieved good growth both in the personal and commercial vehicle segments. We have also seen an encouraging response to our recent launch - the XUV500. Going forward, we are confident of this positive momentum continuing in Q1FY19".
The Indian carmaker launched the new and updated XUV500 in India last month. The flagship SUV got a comprehensive design update with new stylish grille, headlamps and tail lamps, larger wheels and a slightly upmarket cabin with soft-touch dashboard and piano black inserts. There is also a new top-spec W11 variant on offer as well.
Mahindra is planning three new vehicles following the XUV500 facelift – the all-new U321 MPV, the rebadged G4 Ssangyong Rexton and the Tivoli-based S201 crossover. The U321 MPV continues to test for a year now. Mahindra showcased the Rexton at the 2018 Auto Expo but we expect that the renamed flagship SUV will be launched in the country during the festive season later this year.
