Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has announced that they will set up free PUC check-up camps at its dealerships across India. This initiative is on occasion of World Environment Day celebrated across the world on June 5.
The company will set up one day check-up camps at over 450 Mahindra authorized workshops across the country. Mahindra customers can get their cars checked if their vehicular emission is within permissible limits, as specified by the transport authorities. They will also be given the PUC certificate free of cost at the camp.
Sanjoy Gupta, Vice President, Customer Care, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, said, "Mahindra has always been committed to the cause of sustainable development across its entire value chain. Our products conform to the strictest emission norms and also reaffirm our commitment towards the society for a clean and green tomorrow. The Free Pollution check-up campaign on the occasion of World Environment Day is not just a step towards that vision, but also reiterates our customer centric proposition of offering better value to our customers."
World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5 to raise global awareness. It is not only a good initiative that Mahindra has come up with to mark the occasion, but also a good idea to reach out to its customers spread across the country and add to their delight.
