Mahindra & Mahindra has upped the warranty on their MUV, the Xylo, from existing 2 years / 50,000 km to 3 years / 1,00,000 – whichever comes first. The extended warranty will be applicable on all the variants and will be effective immediately on all new purchases.
The Xylo clocks decent numbers for the Indian Utility car major, it slots in between the Toyota Innova and the Marutib Ertiga. The seven-seater from Maruti has however hit sales of both the higher segment vehicles to at least some extent. Mahindra’s new offer will also make the Xylo more lucrative in the MUV segment.
Mahindra will launch five-seater version of the Xylo in the next couple of months. The Xylo Mini has been caught testing several times in the recent past and will compete with the Renault Duster and another upcoming car – the Ford EcoSport.
