Mahindra Marazzo, the latest product from the Indian utility car manufacturer, is expected to strengthen the brand’s foothold in the MPV space. The seven-seater MPV is based on the distinctive shark-inspired design philosophy which gives it an intimidating front look. The rear section looks unique as it is highlighted by shark-tail like tail lamps. Here below are the top five features in the newly launched MPV, the Mahindra Marazzo -
Unique engine placement
The Marazzo has emerged as the world’s first vehicle to use a combination of transversely mounted engine and body on frame chassis with a front wheel drive system. The MPV is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that generates 120bhp of power and 300Nm of torque.
Longitudinal rear AC
The rear AC system is unique with its longitudinal layout and the company claims that it is an industry-first surround cool technology. Moreover, the company claims that it offers the fastest cooling in its segment with a choice of Direct and Diffused modes.
Emergency call service
Apart from dual airbags and ABS, which come as standard across all variants, the Marazzo also offers the emergency call service. The emergency call service sends an alert to the registered phone numbers whenever the airbags are deployed.
Purple instrument cluster
The vehicle gets a new and unique instrument cluster with purple illumination. The latest addition gives it a fresher appeal.
Best-in-class space
The Marazzo has a seven and eight seat layout pattern. Along with reports of maximized cabin space, the company further adds that the MPV offers the best-in-class first and second-row shoulder room.
