- Has generated a lot of interest among buyersÂ
- Demand expected to increase this festive season
- Mahindra all prepared to cater to the increasing demand
The Mahindra Marazzo MPV has received over 10,000 bookings in just over a month since its launch. It was launched for the Indian market in the first week of September 2018.
The Marazzo has the largest footprint for any Mahindra vehicle yet. It has appealed to Indian buyers due to its good looks and new features. At present, the MPV is available in four variants, with a single engine option. This is an all-new 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel mill that produces 121bhp of power and 300Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox with all the power sent to the front wheels.
The sales of the Mahindra Marazzo are only expected to improve in the coming months, especially with the onset of the festive season. We are told there are two new variants in the pipeline, including a petrol version and an AMT version. The addition of both these models should only further boost the sales of the MPV. We hope Mahindra does this soon before the arrival of the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, which should put a big dent to the sales of the Marazzo MPV upon launch.
