- To be offered in seven and eight seat layout options
- To get light beige interior and contoured seats which are upholstered in leatherette in top-spec
- Based on an all-new monocoque platform
Ahead of its official debut in September this year, Mahindra has released a fresh set of interior layout images for the Marazzo MPV. The vehicle will be available in seven and eight seat layout options, where the former gets two captain seats in the middle row, while the latter gets a standard bench seat. The Indian utility vehicle manufacturer boasts of offering premium features and a spacious cabin as compared to the competitors in its segment.
Based on what can be seen, the seven-seater Marazzo MPV with captain seats for the middle row will get a flip function, while the eight-seater variant with a standard bench will offer 40:60 split layout. The MPV will get a light beige interior and a dual tone dashboard with black treatment. The top-spec version is believed to feature contoured seats which are upholstered in leatherette with fine stitching. The air-con vents get the chrome bezel along with the brushed silver panels in the centre tunnel.
The Mahindra Marazzo is based on an all-new monocoque platform with the largest footprint for a Mahindra till date. Its distinctive shark-inspired design philosophy is evident from its aerodynamic and streamlined design. Some of the other features which are unique to the MPV are – ‘Surround cool’ air conditioning system with a longitudinal layout and new instrument cluster with purple illumination.
Although Mahindra had stated that the Marazzo will be offered with a new engine option, details for the same are yet to be revealed. However, we believe that it might be powered by a 1.6-litre diesel engine from the Falcon series that the company has been working on for quite some time now. The engine is expected to come mated to a six-speed manual and an optional six-speed automatic transmission. A petrol engine option will be introduced in due course of time.
