Mahindra has just released a teaser video for what to expect at their stall at the next weeks 2018 Auto Expo. There will be a host of electric vehicles including the Formula E race car apart from few important concepts at the Expo stage.
First up, the Indian carmaker will showcase a new XUV-based concept. The new concept will be a follow up to the XUV Aero Concept showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. This one, however, will be convertible SUV. Whether or not the convertible will receive a green light for production or will meet the same fate as the XUV Aero remains to be seen.
Mahindra Racing will showcase the Formula E race car. Other electric cars include the eVerito and e2O plus. The latter will don the Ola decals to emphasize on the e-mobility ride-sharing concept from the carmaker. The carmaker will also showcase the new Connected Car technology wherein the cars can be remotely controlled by mobile apps.Â
Apart from all these, Mahindra has discreetly teased two different concepts in the video. First seems like a futuristic e-mobility vehicle akin to the e-pallet showcased by Toyota at the Detroit earlier this year and the Honda NeuV Concept from Tokyo. The other one, however, seems like a concept for the new generation e2O which will spawn the second gen of the electric car. Or it could be an all-new electric vehicle which will sit alongside the e2O in the carmaker’s electric portfolio.
