Mahindra has updated the Xylo MPV and has revised the prices of only the BS4 variants. The changes are both external as well as internal. On the mechanical front, it is believed that the suspension has been updated.
On the outside, the facelifted Xylo gets a chrome strip on the bonnet, chrome surrounds for the number plate holder, revised roof rails, graphics on the side and slightly modified alloy wheels.
Changes to the inside include revised upholstery, black and grey garnish for the glove box and music system and more importantly a revised instrument cluster. Other than these changes, the overall layout of the elements remains the same as the previous model.
Mechanically, it is believed that Mahindra has updated the suspension to improve stability and handling. On the engine front, the Xylo retains the BS3 and BS4 spec mDI CRDe 2.5-litre diesel engine that produces 93.7bhp/218Nm as well as the BS4 only 2.2-litre mHAWK engine that produces 120bhp/280Nm. Both engines are offered with a five-speed manual gearbox.
The Mumbai-based automaker has also revised the prices of all the BS4 variants in the range of Rs 3,000 to Rs 11,000 depending on the variant.
