The Mahindra NuvoSport website is live ahead of its official launch in India on April 4. The website reveals the front and back section of the upcoming compact SUV through images. Interested customers can fill-in their details in order to get more update on the vehicle at the time of the launch.
The NuvoSport website also comes with a countdown timer to the launch date and people will also be able to see the live webcast on the day of the launch. Under the hood, the Mahindra NuvoSport will be powered by 1.5-litre engine that will generate 84bhp of power and 215Nm of torque. Mahindra has designed this upcoming compact SUV for the urban masses to compete with the Vitara Brezza and the EcoSport. Following the recent trend among urban buyers, it has been noted that more customers have been opting for automatic drive options. Considering this, Mahindra will offered an optional AMT transmission variant on the upcoming NuvoSport.
The Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai has carried out the research and development process for the NuvoSport, while the in-house design team has worked on the design aspect. The details on the features and variants will be known in the coming days.
Mahindra boasts that NuvoSport meets up the highest quality standards, while also ensuring that it meets the highest standards in emission and safety norms. On the pricing front, it is expected to carry a starting price of around Rs 7.0 lakh – Rs 7.5 lakh.
