Mahindra has launched the India-made KUV100 in South Africa. The micro SUV is offered in three variants – K4+, K6+ and K8. The variants are offered at price ranging between R 1,49,995 to R 197,995 (Rs 6.48 lakh to Rs 8.55 lakh). The K6+ and the K8 is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options, while the K4+ is only available in petrol.
Offered in both the petrol and diesel engine options, the petrol version gets a G80 1.2-litre mFalcon three-cylinder engine which puts out 81bhp of power and 115Nm of torque. The diesel on the other hand gets a G75 1.2-litre mFalcon engine which puts out 76bhp of power and 190Nm of torque. The engines come mated to a five-speed manual transmission. In terms of safety, the car comes gets standard ABS with EBD and dual-front airbags.
As for the interiors, the Mahindra KUV100 gets a two-tone interior with piano black inserts, infotainment system with built-in driver system and engine stop-start system. As for the exteriors, it comes with lead-me-to-vehicle headlamps and follow-me-home headlamps, front and rear foglamps, and spider-design alloy wheels.
