A full accessories pack to add some muscle credibility to the Mahindra KUV100 is now available. The pack, dubbed the Explorer kit, is priced at Rs 42,000 (excluding VAT and service charges) over the price of the standard car. It is available across all variants though in the lower spec models it may not be possible to fit certain features in the accessory pack.
This kit comprises pseudo bash plate elements for the front and rear, side skirts, mouldings for the wheel arches, scoops for the bonnet and a spoiler with a LED light inbuilt. There are no changes to the cabin or to the engine lineup.
Mahindra had launched the KUV100 in the Indian market on January 15 and had given it a starting price of Rs 4.42 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It is the Indian automaker’s competitor in the volumes heavy B-segment.
The KUV100 is offered with a 1.2-litre petrol mill producing 82bhp/115Nm as well a diesel engine producing 77bhp/190Nm. A five-speed manual is standard for both models while the latter can also be had with a five-speed AMT.
