The Mahindra KUV 100 Electric has been spotted testing in Pune. The car sports the same design as the KUV 100 NXT. However, the exhaust pipe on the test mule seems to be missing, suggesting that this might be an electric car with no engine noise as well.
The spy images also reveal a peculiar black pipe running from the left rear window which was covered up at the bottom of the car. Mahindra & Mahindra aims to add two electric cars to its range by 2019; an electric variant of the KUV 100 could be the first one. The other product is also expected to be an existing product with an electric powertrain.
We expect the KUV 100 Electric to be unveiled at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo in February.
