Mahindra, today, announced the launch of a new flexible seating configuration for its compact SUV, the Quanto. Christened ‘Yoga seats’, the new design will allow users to adjust seats in 36 different combinations for maximum flexibility and convenience. The new seating system hasn’t changed the price of the car and will be available across all variants.
With the new seating configuration, the second row of seats, which have a 60:40 split, and it comes with a reclining option and a centrally placed armrest. This enables passengers to adjust the seat back for better seating comfort and leg space. The double dump second row seats and third row foldable seats provide better flexibility and space. All-new seat fabrics with better cushioning effect improves the feel of the cabin.

Rest of the design and specifications of the car remain the same with the car being available only with a four-cylinder 1.5-litre diesel engine. The engine develops 100bhp and 240Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The 5+2 seater is priced at Rs 6 lakh onwards and rivals other MUVs like Maruti Ertiga and Chevrolet Enjoy.
