Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M Ltd.) has announced the introduction of a new paint scheme for the TUV300. The exterior body colour will sport a dual tone paint job in addition to the current palette.
The new exterior colour is currently a combination of a silver body with black accents. The carmaker has painted the roof black, blackened the side pillars and also equipped the SUV with dual tone front and rear bumpers. These changes have been brought out only in the T8 trim of the 100bhp manual transmission variant of the TUV300.
Vivek Nayer, Chief Marketing Officer, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., said, "The launch of the new silver and black dual tone TUV300 will build on its aspiration quotient by dialing up on style and exclusivity, and thus further enhance the brand's appeal. We are confident that this new colour scheme will soon become very popular among our discerning customers and fans."
The current shades include verve blue, dynamite red, molten orange, glacier white, majestic silver, bold black and bronze green. The new dual colour combination costs Rs 15,000 more than then regular single colour variants. Interestingly, Mahindra is also offering the option of a black/white roof decal through Mahindra genuine accessories. The new paint scheme is aimed at increasing its appeal amongst urban buyers and should create a wave of interest during this festive season.
