Mahindra e2o Sport unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo

The e2o Sport, the all-electric GT from Mahindra, was unveiled today at the 2016 Auto Expo. The car is a performance version of the e2o hatchback.

The car is powered by an 80kW powertrain which gets an enhanced range of 200km on a single charge. A 384V high voltage pack helps propel the e2o Sport from 0 to 100kmph in 8 seconds. 

Arvind Mathew, Chief Executive Officer, Mahindra Reva, said, "I see electric mobility becoming the norm, even in India. It's not far in the future that electric vehicles will share our roads with more conventional products. At Mahindra, we intend to accelerate that transformation."

Mahindra believes that the car is a manifestation of their leadership in the electric vehicles segment. We can expect some more innovative electric products from the manufacturer in the future.
