- To get glowing a ‘BE’ logo on the steering wheel
- Set to debut in H2 of 2025
Mahindra is working on multiple all-electric models under its new EV-only sub-brand, the BE. Under this, the Indian automaker will launch BE.05, XUV.e8, and the XUV.e9 in the coming years. Now, while the latter two will be based on the XUV700, the former, BE.05, will be a ground-up product. After many spy pictures, we have got our hands on the interior of the coupe SUV revealing more details.
As seen in the picture, the steering wheel of the upcoming BE.05 resembles that of its closest rival, the Tata Curvv EV, a lot. It gets a twin-spoke design with an octagonal-shaped wheel highlighted by a glowing ‘BE’ logo in the centre. Furthermore, there are illuminated buttons on either side of the steering for the infotainment and instrument panel controls.
Then, similar to the XUV700, the BE.05 will feature a connected display setup for the infotainment and the instrument panel. However, the UI appears new and will likely carry an EV-centric theme and layout for all other upcoming electric Mahindra SUVs.
The Mahindra BE.05 is set to debut in the H2 of 2025. Upon its launch, the all-new electric coupe SUV will find itself a rival in the form of the Tata Curvv EV, updated MG ZS EV, and the BYD Atto 3 in India.
