Mahindra & Mahindra has announced that it has increased prices of its passenger vehicles by an average of one per cent. This increase is in effect immediately and is in the range of Rs 2,300 to Rs 11,500 (ex-showroom) depending on the model.
Commenting on the increase in price of vehicles Pravin Shah, Chief Executive, Automotive Division & International Operations (AFS), Mahindra & Mahindra said, “We have been holding back on price hikes for a while but now it has been necessitated to partly offset the impact of rising input costs.” This hike also applies to the Mumbai-based automaker’s range of commercial vehicles.
