Mahindra has launched the Alturas G4 in India at Rs 26.95 lakhs for the 2WD AT variant and Rs 29.95 lakhs for 4WD AT variant (Introductory ex-showroom). We’ve already driven the car and shown you how it stands up to its rivals and now, here is a break up of what you get in the two variants of the Alturas G4.
Mahindra Alturas G4 2WD (Rs 26.95 lakhs introductory ex-showroom)
This is the lower spec version of the Alturas G4 for the Indian car market. It is priced at least Rs 3 lakhs lower than the 4WD model and this has been achieved by reducing the number of features on offer, the most prominent being the lack of 4WD option.
Salient features of this variant include:
Projector head lamps
Black and grey cabin
Black centre console
8 way power driver's seat
Auto up and anti-pinch only for front windows
TPMS for front tyres
Monochromatic display for the instrument cluster
Dual front airbags
Mahindra Alturas G4 4WD (Rs 29.95 lakhs introductory ex-showroom)
This is the top spec model for the Alturas G4. For the additional 3 lakhs over the two wheel variant you get a significant number of added features. This list comprises:
4WD
HID headlamps
LED fog lamps with cornering function
Power tail gate
Brown and black quilted leather upholstery
9 airbags
Auto up and down for both front and rear windows
Colour TFT-LCD display for the instrument cluster
360 degree surround camera
Illuminated scuff plates
Auto tilt function for ORVMs
Our recommendation
We say, go for the AWD variant given that for just Rs 3 lakhs more you get a significant number of added features as well as AWD.
