An LWB version of the Bentley Mulsanne has been spotted on test at the Nurburgring. In essence a longer version of what is already a large car; the LWB Mulsanne is expected to debut sometime next year and according to reports is expected to be first offered first in the Chinese market.
The pictures reveal the standard Bentley design save for the extremely long rear door indicating massive room inside. The standard car is 5575mm long with a wheelbase of 3266mm and this car is expected to be at least 200mm longer of which a majority will be in the wheelbase.
Generally an extended length means the car will also be quite a bit heavier and this car will be no less. The current car tips the scales at 2.6-tonnes and an extended version should be at least half a tonne more.
Considering the slew of luxury cars arriving in India, we could possibly expect something like this once it is launched. However, there is also a possibility that the car maybe a limited sales option with existing Bentley customers getting the chance to buy the car before it goes on sale publicly.
