Honda Cars India
Honda Cars India registered a total sales of 10,911 units in September. While the domestic sales contributed 5,675 units, the export stood at 5,236 units last month. To boost sales, the automaker recently launched the Apex Edition of the Elevate SUV in the country.
Kia India
Kia India closed September month on a good note with domestic sales crossing 23,523 units. This is a 17 per cent Y-o-Y growth compared to last year's 20,022 units. Moreover, the facelifted version of the Sonet emerges as the top-selling model for the Korean maker in the country with a contribution of 10,335 units in the total sales tally. Meanwhile, the Seltos and the Carens have registered 6,959 and 6,217 units, respectively.
Mahindra Automotive
Mahindra Automotive has had a solid run in September 2024 selling 51062 SUVs in September 2024 as compared to 41267 SUVs in the corresponding period last year. This has resulted in a growth of 24 per cent. In terms of overall sales for the FY, Mahindra has moved 2.6 lakh units up to September as compared to 2.1 lakh units in the same period of FY 24 resulting in a growth of 21 per cent. The uptick has, no doubt, come on the back of the launch of the XUV3XO compact SUV.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor
Starting with the Toyota Kirloskar Motor, the brand had a decent sales run in September. The automaker registered a total sale of 26,847 units in September 2024, which is 14 per cent more than the overall sales in the same month last year. Moreover, as per the automaker, the SUV, MPV, and the small segment cars have contributed over 90 per cent in the September sales.
