British sports car tuner Lister has unveiled the world's fastest SUV, the Lister LFP. It is believed that the company has worked on the Jaguar F-Pace SVR to deliver the fastest SUV in the world. Full details of the new, bespoke Lister LFP are still under wraps, but key vital statistics have been revealed. The Lister LFP generates 670bhp of power and can attain a top speed of 322kmph thereby emerging as the fastest SUV in the world.
Although the torque figures are not known, for now, it is believed to be over 680Nm. Reports indicate that the performance-focused SUV is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in just about 3.5 seconds. The SVR variant of the F-Pace with a top speed of 283kmph was one of the fastest SUVs in the world until it was dethroned by the recently introduced Lamborghini Urus which has a top speed of 305kmph.
Lister had previously tuned the Jaguar F-Type R, dubbed the LFT-666, which generated a lot of interest in just a few months. The vehicle produced about 666bhp and 976Nm of torque from its supercharged 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine. The powerful engine enabled the vehicle to sprint from 0-100kmph in just about 3.2 seconds and attain a top speed of 208mph. This time around, the company is anticipating a similar customer response for the Lister LFP.
