If a recent report from Automobile magazine is to be believed, Porsche’s only four sedan, the Panamera, is likely to receive an uber-exclusive version. According to the report, the German sports carmaker is preparing a highly exclusive version for the Panamera later this year.
With only 100 units of this special edition version planned, the special edition Panamera will be rare indeed. The report doesn’t say much in terms of specifications but it is said that the model will feature a unique metallic paint scheme with multi-coloured leather upholstery. The car will also be specced with a host of features from Porsche’s rather long optional equipment list.
The special edition Panamera could be powered by the range-topping twin turbocharged 4.8-litre V8 engine developing 570bhp of power, allowing the full-size sedan to accelerate from zero to 100kmph in just 3.6 seconds.
Expect the special edition Panamera to be revealed fully before the end of this year. Also expect a significant amount of premium for this full-specced limited model over the standard Panamera Turbo S.
