Lexus has just announced that it will showcase a new concept model at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. Called the LF-C2, this new concept model previews a two-seater convertible sports car.
Although the details are next to nil at the moment, the LF-C2 could pave way for a convertible version of the RC coupe. Lexus calls it an “open-air” concept and it has announced that the vehicle will make its online debut through a 72-hour social media campaign right before the official showcase at the LA Auto Show.
If the concept indeed previews a convertible version of the RC coupe, the fire power is likely to be shared with latter. It means the 5-litre, V8 engine could power this upcoming BMW M4 rival. Full details on the LF-C2 will be officially shared as we get closer to the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
