- Expected to display full India range alongside concept cars
- Will be a three-zone display
Lexus has announced that it will showcase two concept cars at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. As has been the case in the past, its display will be alongside parent company Toyota’s pavilion and in addition to the concept cars is also expected to display its complete range of cars sold in India. The automaker has also said that its stall will be divided into a Hybrid zone, a Lifestyle zone and a Future zone.
Lexus LF-ZC
The LF-ZC is a preview of the direction that Lexus is taking with its future sedan models and the first one will be what is essentially the next-generation LS and is expected to arrive sometime in 2026. The production version will be an electric sedan with a more conventional roofline and more well-defined doors as a part of the package.
Lexus has not shared any technical details of the car but has indicated that it will have a range of around 1000km and get both RWD and AWD configurations. There is only one photo of the cabin and it showcases a rectangular steering wheel in front of a massive one-piece display dominating the dashboard.
Lexus ROV
Coming as a complete contrast to the LF-ZC concept the ROV is an off-highway hydrogen-powered concept car. In essence a covered ATV, it has some of the Lexus design elements but fits into the compact and rugged form of the body style. The open cabin is tough and hardwearing thanks to the large use of carbon fibre and gets a Lexus logo on the steering wheel as well as a piece instrument cluster to keep with the rugged theme. Powering this concept is a 1.0-litre Hydrogen powered engine but no specifications have been provided.
The ROV is Lexus’ take on making a small fun to use vehicle for off-highway driving. Its size and design point at it being an accompaniment to someone already owning a large Lexus SUV and wanting something smaller that can be towed along on a trailer bed.
