Lexus has unveiled the all-new GS saloon range at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition and we be on sale in Europe from mid-2012. The new car which was unveiled was the GS 250, that is powered by a 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine which has a maximum output of 206bhp and peak torque of 253Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed autobx with sequential manual shift - the system has been engineered to deliver faster shift speeds, earlier torque converter lock-up and downshift throttle blips.
Compared the current GS, the new model has a more spacious interior, with notably more head and legroom for rear seat passengers. It will be offered with a range of new technology features, including a 12.3-inch multimedia screen, a new S-flow air conditioning system with nanoe air purifying technology, and a new Mark Levinson audio system with up to 17 speakers.
