Lexus decided to drive down the path of evolution rather than revolution to the Frankfurt Motor Show with the new GS 450h. The GS 450h uses a V6 Atkinson Cycle petrol engine in collaboration with a pair of electric motors to produce performance on par with cars that sport V8 engines under their bonnets, according to Toyota’s luxury arm.
Apart from the improved second generation version of the Lexus hybrid drivetrain, the new GS also boasts some unique technologies like an energy saving air conditioning with S Flow and Nano e tech, a more evolved second gen remote touch interface (RTI) and what Lexus says is the world’s largest multi-function display screen, among many other features.
