One of the world’s most expensive cars can now finally be yours...in a 1:8 ratio. Lego has taken the wraps off its version of the Bugatti Chiron and OMG it’s beautiful. There’s 3599 parts, an active rear wing that’s operated through Bugatti’s signature speed key and a W16 engine with moving pistons!
Because this is a Lego set where budget is not an issue (like the Chiron itself) the detailing is fantastic and when you take a closer look, you get an idea of how nice-looking this model car actually is. The paddles behind the steering wheel shifts gears while there is also a slot to insert a miniature version of the Bugatti’s speed key to move the rear wing into high speed mode.
The detailing includes low profile Michelin tyres, a replica Bugatti bag to go in the frunk and a coffee table book that covers the build process as well a detailed look at the Bugatti Chiron. The package also comprises stickers and decals to get the 100 per cent Bugatti look and feel.
And, now comes the hard part. The kit has been priced at 350 US dollars which works out to Rs 25,502. I’m pretty certain this kit will be launched in India and will double in price right away. The Porsche 911 GT3 RS kit is priced Rs 30,000 (at the time of writing this story) so this far more detailed kit will definitely be more expensive.
