-Digital-analogue combination
-7-inch TFT colour display
-Likely to be standard only for top models
-Expected to get City, Sport and economy mode
Yesterday, we gave you a glimpse of the Tata 45X/Aquilla’s interior and today here is a leaked image of the instrument cluster. As expected, it mimics the likes of the one found on the soon-to-be-launched Tata Harrier premium SUV and even has the same digital-analogue setup. What’s new however, is that this cluster reveals that the 45X/Aquilla will get the driving modes being offered in the other Tata models.
The speedometer is an analogue unit while the tachometer and information display have been combined into one 7-inch TFT display. There’s a nice blue shade in the overall colour palette and in the photo we can see that the car is in the City driving mode. There’s also expected to be a eco mode and probably a sport mode as well. The picture also indicates that at least some variant of the hatchback will get cruise control as a part of the package.
The 45X/Aquilla in production guise will be Tata’s rival to the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda jazz, Hyundai Elite i20 and the Volkswagen Polo. It is expected to launch by the end of the first quarter of this year.
