Ahead of its official debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, fresh images of the Velar from Land Rover have been leaked. The fresh set of images feature the interior and exterior shots of the upcoming vehicle. The new model from Land Rover will be positioned between the Land Rover Evoque and the Sport models which will include the sportiness and practicality aspect from the other two.
Based on what can be seen, the front section of the Land Rover Velar gets large radiator grille, sleek headlamps with signature LED lights and vertical slat inserts on the side air vents. Interestingly, the Velar’s low greenhouse gets a curved quarter glass that gives it a unique identity. The vehicle gets a black roof and a black underbody cladding that adds up to its overall sporty quotient. The rear gets wide LED tail lamps and the traditional Land Rover badging.
Speaking about the interior, the upcoming Range Rover Velar gets premium upholstery, four-spoke steering wheel with one touch controls, two wide touchscreens – One as dashboard infotainment system and another placed below it to read out vehicle moment details. Under the hood, the Range Rover Velar is expected to be powered by a V6 engine that also finds place in the Jaguar F-Pace model. Moving forward, at a later date, Land Rover might also introduce the vehicle with a V8 engine variant with SVR performance. Additional details about the upcoming vehicle will be known post its official unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show.
