Jaguar Land Rover has recalled about 65,352 Range Rovers for a potential door latch problem. This recall covers both, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models.
The company said that this problem is due to a software glitch in the keyless entry system. The British manufacturer found this issue after few customer complaints started pouring in since October. While there have been no casualties, the company isn’t taking any risk and has asked the dealers to take care of the issue. 2013-2016 Range Rover and the 2014-2016 Range Rover models have been affected.
The affected Range Rover owners have to visit the showroom with the car and the software will be updated to fix this issue. Land Rover has asked the customers to get in touch with the dealers as the recall activities will commence from August 7.
