One of the world’s most luxurious SUVs, the long wheelbase version of the Land Rover Range Rover was unveiled at the Auto Expo this month. Packed with the most comfortable upholstery and finest accessories, the company has now launched this variant in India at a starting price of Rs 2.08 crore.
Land Rover has increased the legroom of the second row of the car by 140mm as this new variant has a 186mm longer wheelbase. The seats in the second row can be offered to customers either in bench form or as individual executive seats. These seats can now be reclined to 17 degrees, eight degrees more than the previous variants. This variant also gets a larger panoramic sunroof.
The long wheelbase variants are powered by the same engine options that the regular Range Rover is powered with. The 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine variant that produces 510bhp of power and 625Nm of torque is at the top of the versions. The diesel trims are powered by a 4.4-litre V8 mill that produces 339bhp of power and 700Nm of torque. Another 3.0-litre diesel model that produces 256bhp of power and 600Nm of torque is also available.
The pricing of the Land Rover Range Rover Long Wheelbase starts at Rs 2.08 crore for the 3.0-litre diesel trim. The top-of-the-line Autobiography petrol model is priced at Rs 2.63 crore.
