Land Rover launches 2017 Range Rover Evoque at Rs 49.10 lakh

Jaguar Land Rover cars have always held a special position in the premium vehicle segment in India. This time around, the premium brand has launched the 2017 Range Rover Evoque range which is priced at Rs 49.10-67.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Evoque range is powered by the latest 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine. JLR will be introducing a 2.0-litre Si4 petrol engine in January 2017, thereby offering an additional option for potential customers.   

The 2017 Range Rover Evoque gets a new 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine which generates 175bhp of power and 430Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission that powers all four wheels. Moreover, the new JLR developed engine, weighs around 20 kilograms lower than the previous generation engine. The front fascia of the new Range Rover Evoque features LED headlamps with distinctive signature DRLs. The headlights get adaptive function that automatically aligns light beams with steering inputs and follow curves in the road. Inside, its gets Oxford leather seats, Meridian surround sound system, powered tailgate and surround camera. This time around the automaker has introduced a 10-inch touchscreen while an 8-inch touchscreen is offered as standard on the HSE and HSE Dynamic models.

Additionally, Jaguar Land Rover has also launched the Range Rover Evoque HSE Dynamic Ember Edition which is priced at Rs 67.90 lakh. The SUV gets the same mechanical upgrades as the 2017 Range rover Evoque, however to set it apart from the standard model, it gets firenze red roof which contrasts the santorini black colour on the rest of the vehicle. As for the interior, it gets ebony black seats with contrasting pimento red stitching.
