Italian performance car manufacturer, Lamborghini is witnessing strong and steady growth in 2019 with nearly twice the sales in the first half of this year. Lamborghini has globally sold 4,553 car units, which is about 96 per cent increase in sales as compared to the overall sales figures for the same period in 2018. Interestingly, the Urus SUV has been the key contributor to this overall sales figure with 2,693 units sold from January to June 2019, which is much more than the combined sales of the Huracan and the Aventador.
In the first half of 2019, Lamborghini sold 1,211 units of Huracan and 649 units of the Aventador. US has always been the biggest single market for Lamborghini followed by China, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Germany. America saw an increase in demand by 128 per cent to 1,543, while sales in the Asia Pacific have more than doubled to 1,184 units. The EMEA region, which consists of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, posted an increase of 67 per cent to 1,826 cars.
