Auto lovers who found the Lamborghini Aventador impressive, will instantly fall in love with the better performing Aventador S. The newly unveiled Aventador S generates an additional 41bhp and features improved dynamics for better handling. The most important update that that new model gets is a four-wheel-steering system. The front axle gets the company’s dynamic steering setup and the rear gets two separate actuators with five-millisecond-quick adjustments that respond as per the driver’s steering input.
The new Lamborghini Aventador S is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 mated to a seven-speed gearbox which puts out massive 730bhp. The hypercar is capable of doing a 0 – 100kph is just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 349kph. The revised front fascia claims to generate an additional 130 per cent down force on its nose, while the rear gets a three position wing which increases downforce up to 50 per cent. Moreover, it also claims to offer better handling in the most slippery condition by reducing the drag by 400 per cent.
The new Aventador S from Lamborghini continues to be built around the carbon-fibre monocoque chassis. However, in order to get the best of driving experience, it gets a revised pushrod and suspension setting for quicker response. The vehicle also offers three drive modes Strada (street driving), Sport and Corsa (race performance). Inside, the hypercar gets TFT digital dashboard, Apple CarPlay and option of adding telemetry system. UK will get the new Lamborghini Aventador S sometime in 2017 while the Indian market might see it at a later date followed by its international launch.
