Lamborghini has unveiled the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Powered by a retuned version of the 6.5-litre V12 engine, the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce is the most powerful and the fastest ever production version of the supercar.
Lightness and better performance are two key features which set the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce apart from the standard car. It gets lightweight forged rims, door panels and revised interior draped in black Alcantara, all of which together have resulted in a loss of 50 kilograms. It also gets a carbon fibre rear wing and air intakes which not only reduce weight, but also give the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce a meaner look.
While the standard Aventador LP 700-4 produces ‘just’ 700bhp in its standard guise, the LP 750-4 Superveloce gets its power figure bumped up to 740.2bhp. This extra power has helped the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce knock off 0.1 seconds from the standard car’s 0-100kmph time of 2.9 seconds. The power-to-weight ratio of the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce is now 10 per cent better than the standard car.
Under Lampborghini’s Ad Personam personalisation program, customers will be able to specify their Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce in five colours and a host of other trim options.
Speaking about the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce, Mr Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said, “The new Aventador Superveloce continues the Lamborghini tradition of SV models, pushing the boundaries in terms of performance and pure driving emotion. With technological features which, combined with design, quality standards and craftsmanship, the Superveloce results in the most exclusive, pure and emotional production model in the history of our brand.”
