Lamborghini has been on a spree to launch special editions in the Chinese market and this time it has built a car for the modern day master of smash. Constructed under the Lamborghini Ad personam programme, The Lamborghini Aventador Jackie Chan Edition has been customised to the superstar’s tastes and will be on display as a special exhibit at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.
The Jackie Chan Edition Aventador gets a special Titanium Grey paint job, shiny black alloy wheels and red coloured brake callipers. The interior has been trimmed out in a combination of red and black with the words long stitched into the headrests paying homage to Jackie’s Chinese name Cheng Long.
Mechanically, it is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine that produces 700bhp and 690Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four-wheels via a seven-speed DSG and a four-wheel-drive system.
Price? Well that is a question that only whose can’t afford a Lamborghini will ask but the standard Aventador in China costs 7.38 million Yuan (Rs 7.1 crore) and this will be at least Rs 15 lakh to Rs 20 lakh more when built under the personalisation programme.
